Last weekend I spent a couple hours at Animal Kingdom and took a few pictures for menu updates of most of the quick service restaurants. A lot of this is old news, but I haven’t formally posted yet. First up we have Trilo-Bites. This is where you used to be able to purchase Turkey Legs (which can now be found at the nearby Flame Tree Barbecue). Now, the stand is catering to the sweet tooth.
Apart from these sweet waffles, there is a rogue Buffalo Chicken with Blue Cheese Waffle they were offering a few weeks ago. When I spoke to a cast member working this past Sunday, she mentioned it would be back for the holidays.
It’s been some time since I’ve dined at Restaurantosaurus, but the menu has changed, even as recently as the summer.
Primarily, prices have been raised, and the Vegetable Sub has been replaced by a Black Bean Burger. Kids now also have the option of Corn Dog Nuggets.
The Garden Kiosk offers guests with food allergies helpful information on where they are safe to dine within the park, as well as sells several allergy-friendly foods.
Flame Tree Barbecue has gained Trilo-Bites’ Turkey Leg, and the delicious Mandarin Orange Lemonade I’ve ordered in the past now comes with vodka. My wish came true! If this drink is like some others served in the park, there’s a chance that the vodka is added separately, so it might still be possible to get this served alcohol-free.
A couple months ago, Kusafiri added some new pastries to their menu, and a Hot Breakfast Wrap has recently been added as well. Review on the latter coming soon! You can see the review here!
A menu that doesn’t see much for change, except for prices, is Pizzafari.
And as we reviewed yesterday, Tamu Tamu Refreshments received an overhaul. See the review here!
And that concludes are tour! Do you see anything you haven’t tried before that stands out?
YES. I KNEW I wasn’t making things up! I went straight to Restaurantosaurus for the veggie sub and was all …? at the black bean burger. And I swear they used to serve sweet potato fries. COME BACK SWEET POTATO FRIES.
You’re certainly not crazy, Jenn! Not even about the sweet potato fries! Take a look at this menu from August 2011. What comes with that Vegetable Subosaurus, might I ask? 😉
