Snacks from Canada: Allan Big Foot Orange Cream Pop Soft & Chewy Candy

Our “Snacks from…” series treats you to different snacks found in the World Showcase pavilions at Epcot. Find more reviews here! Continuing our series, we head to Canada’s Trading Post!

The Trading Post in Canada is connected to Northwest Mercantile, just up the stairs from the main track around World Showcase. A small selection of treats can be found here, including maple syrup candy and interesting potato chip flavors you typically don’t find here in the states. But what caught my eye during a recent walk through the shop was this bag of Allan brand Big Foot Orange Cream Pop flavored candy.

If you can get past eating candy shaped like a foot (and just look at that giant big toe!), these candies are surprisingly true to their flavor’s namesake. Looking at the ingredients, pear juice makes an appearance, which is interesting. Texturally, these are similar to Swedish Fish, which have a similar ingredient list to Big Foot.

If I’m looking for a bite of something sweet, these really hit the spot. I love Swedish Fish and the Orange Cream Pop flavor, so I can certainly see myself picking up another bag of these. Matt’s been enjoying them too, and when he’s looking for something sweet, he’ll grab a few of these to snack on. If you’ve tried  Allan brand Big Foot Orange Cream Pop Soft & Chewy Candy, let us know what you think!

  1. Those sound interesting. I’d have to find someone to split them with though because my wife does not like orange cream sickle flavors.

  2. The bag is pretty good so they would at least last you a few days if she didn’t want to partake. I’m trying to recall if I saw other flavors there. I know they have them on their website! 🙂

  3. creamsicle sweedish fish? yum!
