Mouse Bites for August 3, 2014

The week has flown by, hasn’t it? I’m having trouble believing it’s August already! This past week brought us some tasty reviews from California Grill, Grand Floridian Cafe, and Be Our Guest. Two new events have been added to The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. We rounded out the week with a menu update from the Magic Kingdom.

Boston Cream Pie from the Grand Floridian Cafe

The Disney Parks Blog shared some recipes, including Orange Cilantro Marinated Flank Steak, Gluten-Free Beignets, and Lasagna Bolognese from the recently announced Trattorio al Forno, which will be opening at the BoardWalk Inn. Disneyland is getting a Pretzels and Peanut Butter Gourmet Apple, and WDW is getting a Haunted Mansion shop in the now-defunct Yankee Trader shop outside of the Haunted Mansion attraction. They’ll certainly need the space for all of the new merchandise coming this fall!
