  1. Honestly, I’m a little disappointed. Table service options in Animal Kingdom are so few, and we typically steer clear of character meals (it’s just my husband and I, no kids). Guess it’ll be Yak and Yeti for table service from here on out. I’m sure there will be a lot of happy parents though!

  2. When Matt and I went for breakfast, I made sure I made my way to the buffet to avoid the interaction with the characters. I don’t care for character meals (or buffets in general), but breakfast was somewhat reasonably priced to be able to experience the restaurant. Perhaps they are hoping to start getting people to stay later in the park, too. Offering a character meal at dinner might keep families there longer.

  3. Sarah we do the same thing, so do our kids (12 & 14) – They have no interest in the characters, but we love eating here.

  4. I was never really a fan of the character meals, even as a kid. 🙂
