I don’t know about you, but I am ready for the weekend! Holiday weekends always make for a more hectic, short week of “catch-up” at work, so I’m looking forward to some time relaxing on property. This week, we grabbed breakfast at Trattoria al Forno, which offers a relatively low-carb and savory breakfast for those that prefer such things. We also stopped by Beaches and Cream to try the Pork Belly Cuban Sandwich. Finally, you’ll want to head to La Cava del Tequila and the Margarita Kiosk in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot this Sunday, February 22nd, for some National Margarita Day specials. And don’t forget – the Hibiscus Margarita will be served exclusively during the Flower & Garden Festival this year!
Those over in California Adventure this weekend might want to check out the wine tasting with Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard on February 21st & 22nd at the Alfresco Tasting Terrace, located on the second floor of Golden Vine Winery. Also, the park is hosting a Lunar New Year celebration which kicked off yesterday, so be sure to check out the specialty Lunar New Year eats available through the 22nd. Here at WDW, we took a Sneak Peek at Flower & Garden’s Outdoor Kitchens. The Festival begins March 4th, so mark your calendar if you haven’t already!
Our friends have been up to some culinary adventures as well!
Josh of Easy WDW has a huge photo update from Animal Kingdom, as well as reviews from Pizzafari and Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes.
Alexis of Gluten Free in Orlando heads to Downtown Disney for some T-Rex Cafe fun.
Adam and Andrew of Disney Hipster Blog stop by the Mitsukoshi Sake Bar in Epcot.
Jenn of The Fairest Run of All pays a sweet visit to Kusafiri.
Thank your for visiting and we’ll keep you posted on any Disney food news that comes our way over the weekend. Enjoy your Friday and have a great weekend!
