Those of you heading to Magic Kingdom on May 22 for the 24-Hour Party will need to stay fueled, and the Disney Parks Blog has some suggestions for what will be available (Note: their post pairs photos of items available at Disneyland, not WDW).
Suggestions for breakfast include coffee and pastries from Main Street Bakery (where you also find Specialty Cupcakes celebrating the event, in addition to Gaston’s Tavern). Liberty Square’s Sleepy Hollow has Waffle Sandwiches features Strawberries and Whipped Cream or a Ham and Cheese Omelet. Since this event is to kick off the Coolest Summer Ever, lots of treats including Lemonade and Cotton Candy will be blue.
Lunch options include Pot Roast Macaroni and Cheese or Bacon Cheeseburger Macaroni and Cheese from The Friar’s Nook.
Pinocchio Village Haus offers an assortment of flatbreads.
The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland offers a Tropical Watermelon Lemonade, a Gourmet Hot Dog topped with Pulled pork and Cole Slaw, and a Crisped Rice Treat shaped like a flip-flop, which will be available during the Tomorrowland Beach Party that begins at 4 p.m.
Suggestions for dinner include a new Deluxe Chicken Sandwich with Pepper Jack Cheese, Bacon and Chipotle Mayo at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café. New Rice Bowls in either beef or veggie can be found at Tortuga Tavern. Liberty Square’s Columbia Harbour House serves Seafood Mac and Cheese, featuring lobster and shrimp, and Chicken Pot Pie (above), both of which are only available after 4 p.m.
An Olaf-inspired Sundae will be available at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, and guests who prefer a savory snack can enjoy the Gourmet Waffle Fries from Golden Oak Outpost. If you make it the full 24 hours, you can reward yourself with breakfast at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, where they will be serving a Breakfast Plate with Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, and Herb-crusted Roasted Red Skin Potatoes.
