Some new items have joined the menu at Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel, reports the Disney Parks Blog. Joining the menu are fresh, light appetizers, including a Fresh Pasta Tagliatelle with Stone Fruit Mostarda, Julienne Zucchini, Cherry Tomato and Fresh Sorelle. Other items include Sautéed Sea Scallops (above) with Watermelon Cucumber Compote, Pickled Radish, and Rhubarb Sabayon; Seared Carpaccio of Beef (below) with Baby Arugula, Mandarin Orange, Whipped Horseradish, and Smoked Sea Salt; and Chilled White Asparagus (below) with Serrano Ham, Pecorino Romano, Minced Fava Bean and Grapefruit Essence.
The Steakhouse 55 Salad will feature a Garden Carrot, Blue Cheese, Maple Pecans and Raspberry Vinaigrette. A Moroccan-spiced King Salmon (above) is also offered, and a recommended pairing is with a seasonal Creamed Local Super-sweet Corn with Plugra Butter.
Finally, there is a new Chef’s Tasting Menu, which includes a Caprese Salad (above), 8 oz. Grilled Prime Flatiron Steak with Creamy White Polenta, Seared King Oyster Mushroom and Hollandaise. The dining experience concludes with a Vanilla Crème Brulee with a Lemon Madeleine, Chantilly Cream and Strawberry Compote.
