The Disney Parks Blog is showing off a few of WDW’s unique breakfasts around property, found at locations that don’t offer reservations. We’ve had a few of their suggestions, but this one caught my eye: the Maple Waffle Breakfast Cone!
This concoction of Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, and Cheddar Cheese is served in a hand-formed Maple Waffle Cone and can be found at BoardWalk Bakery at the BoardWalk Inn. While I have yet to try it, I have visited the shop at breakfast for the Buttermilk Biscuit Egg Sandwich.
Also making the list is the Pop-Tarts Breakfast Sandwich from Everything POP at the Pop Century Resort. It’s a Egg, Bacon and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich served on – you guessed it – a Strawberry Pop-Tart. I can’t say I’ll be trying that one, but I have stopped in for the Spanish Quiche, Guava Pastry, and Breakfast Empanada.
They also suggest the Breakfast Flatbread from Artist’s Palette at Saratoga Springs. It’s a combination of Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Gravy, Crumbled Bacon, and Cheese. We’ve also tried the Country Breakfast Burrito and the Egg Florentine Breakfast Wrap.
Over in Epcot, the recommend heading to Sunshine Seasons for the Breakfast Panini – Eggs, Bacon, Roast Pork and Cheese on a pressed Panini, served with Breakfast Potatoes. Those who prefer classics can get the Breakfast Platter. If you prefer a sweeter start might want to opt for the Bread Pudding or Coconut Macaroon.
Finally is the Vegetarian Breakfast Sandwich from Landscape of Flavors at the Art of Animation Resort. The filling includes Cauliflower, Spinach, and Paneer Cheese served on Naan Bread. As you can see above, I’ve had the non-vegetarian version. I’ve also stopped by for the Guava Twist, Breakfast Chicken Burger, and Chocolate Chip Pancakes.
