Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Clinton Kelly, Carla Hall and Daphne Oz of ABC’s “The Chew” will be taping shows October 7, 8, and 9 from the 20th Annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival at Epcot, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The five festival episodes series is scheduled to air October 12-16. The shows will be taped before a live audience (thechew.com will have information on how to obtain tickets).
In addition, “The Chew” will be featured in two marketplaces during the 53-day festival, running from September 25-November 16. New to the festival, two marketplaces will expand into Future World with the Next Eats area, featuring three dishes from “The Chew” in their Sustainable Chew Marketplace. Dishes will include Savory Pork Spareribs with Cheesy Mascarpone Grits; Ricotta & Zucchini Ravioli with Tomato Sauce, and Vanilla Panna Cotta with Fresh Figs and Pistachio Brittle. Herbs and vegetables from The Land pavilion will be highlighted. With an eco-home-inspired marketplace, it will offer a chance for guests to learn more about how food is grown and sustainability. The second marketplace is Chew Lab, where Disney chefs will collaborate with “The Chew” in a “cutting-edge marketplace inspired by food-science labs and the hottest culinary tech trends.”
