New Halloween Novelty Items Coming to Disney Parks

Halloween is just around the corner, and the Disney parks are releasing some fun novelty drinkware and popcorn buckets to celebrate, according to the Disney Parks Blog. This Poison Apple Stein will be available with a beverage from several locations at Disneyland, while at WDW, it will be found at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

The Vampire Mickey Premium Popcorn bucket will be available in early October at popcorn carts throughout Disneyland and WDW.  This year, the Zero Premium Popcorn bucket will feature a glow in the dark Zero and will be available  at Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom.

Mystical Spirits of the Blue Bayou Dining Experience Coming to Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland

New to Mickey’s Halloween Party this year will be the premium Halloween dining experience: Mystical Spirits of the Blue Bayou, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The themed three-course dinner begins at 7pm and is hosted by Dr. Facilier, who will conjure his friends from the other side and bring them to life in the restaurant.

After the dinner, guests will receive a limited-edition custom lithograph featuring art from Disney Animator Eric Goldberg and will have a special viewing area for the “Halloween Screams” fireworks.

Jungle Cruise Sunrise Safari Breakfast Experience Coming to Disneyland

The Jungle Cruise Sunrise Safari Breakfast – a once-in-a-lifetime experience – is coming to Disneyland on select dates from September 21 to December 2, 2015, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The Safari begins with a welcome from the Jungle Navigation Company, Ltd., before haging breakfast on the African veldt of the Jungle Cruise attraction in Adventureland. This is an incredibly special opportunity to dine IN the attraction.

Fare being served will include an assortment of fresh pastries and scones, exotic fruit and chia parfait, eggs, glazed pork belly bacon, pan-seared sausage and roasted golden potato-and-onion hash. Also being served will be an assortment of juices, freshly brewed coffee and specialty teas.

After breakfast, guests will receive a crash court in Jungle Skipper training before getting behind the wheel of your own boat to recite the spiel. Upon initiation into the “Fraternal League of Secret Skippers,” you’ll receive a tribal mask inspired by original concept art for the Jungle Cruise attraction.

Cost is $300 per Guest and includes tax and gratuity. No discounts may be applied. Reservations are extremely limited and are now being accepted here.

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar Presents The Tahitian Terrace Diamond Luau

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel will be hosting a special 60th anniversary celebration for the resort on August 10 and 11, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The site notes that “The sessions will include the Tahitian Terrace Tribute Show with Tahitian dancers; a historical overview by Imagineers; and tastes from the original menu of the “gone-but-not-forgotten” Tahitian Terrace tropical restaurant. Guests also receive two drink tickets good for non-alcoholic Tahitian Punch, Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration drink (with alcohol), wine or beer.”

New Treats Coming to Disneyland

Disneyland will be offering a Specialty Apple in celebration of the Disney Resort Diamond Celebration, starting June 17, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The apple, shaped like Mickey, will be dipped in caramel and covered in white chocolate, sanding sugar, and topped with a Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration lay-on. This creation will be available for a limited time.

Beginning in August, guests will also have available a gourmet Crispy Treat that is covered in chocolate and layered with mini pretzels and drizzled with peanut butter. They will also find similarly-dressed Gourmet Apples and Marshamallow Wands, which feature an extra layer of caramel.

Made with Magic Sippers Coming to Disneyland

Two new Made with Magic sippers are coming to Disneyland and California Adventure July 17, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The sippers will cost $25.00 without a beverage and or $28.00 with a beverage, including fountain soda, frozen carbonated beverages, and frozen lemonade (tax included).

New Beach Side Bonfire Dinner Buffet at PCH Grill

Disney’s PCH Grill, located at Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland Resort, is offering a new Beach Side Bonfire Dinner Buffet, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The experience is Disney’s take on the picnics, barbecues and bonfires that happen often at Pacific Coast Highway beaches. This nightly buffet begins July 17 and is inspired by the tastes of California’s coastline.

The carving station features dry-rubbed smoked tri-tip beef and baby back ribs. The seafood sauté station offers shrimp Alfredo with cavatappi pasta, as well as littleneck clams with chorizo and potatoes in broth, served with a roasted garlic-herb crostini. Wood-fired pizzas are also available, and you’ll also find a mini taco station featuring beer-battered sustainable fish and veggie tacos. Spice-rubbed pork shoulder and sides such a roasted potato salad, heirloom tomato-mozzarella salad, deviled eggs, and a build-your-own salad bar round out the buffet.
